Bookings of 3 or more nights in July, August or September 2012 receive a 10% discount and a bottle of wine in room on arrival.
April 2012: 3-night Greek Easter experience
Experience and participate in the customs of traditional Greek Easter, in a friendly, family setting at St Thomas Bed & Breakfast.
13th April -Good Friday: Evening visit to local Greek Orthodox church to see the traditional Epitaphio (representation of Christ’s tomb), decorated with thousands of flowers, and its procession through the streets.
14th April - Easter Saturday: Breakfast provided. Visit to church for the midnight “Anastasi” ceremony to mark the rising of Christ, when everyone holds lit candles that illuminate the night. The visit is followed by a traditional meal of soup and salad back at St Thomas B & B
15th April - Easter Sunday: Breakfast provided. Enjoy a hearty traditional Greek Easter lunch with us at St Thomas B & B which includes the customary roasting of lamb on the spit. A full meal is provided including wine and soft drinks.
16th April - Easter Monday: Breakfast provided
Prices
3 night Greek Easter special in the Garden Suite or the Olive Room
(sleeps 4 – ideal for 2 adults and 2 children): €600 for all 3 nights including church visits and additional meals outlined above
3 night Greek Easter special in Wisteria Room
(sleeps 2): €450 including all 3 nights and of course church visits and additional meals as outlined above
